Simple Methods

Random		 Play the Random Game as often as you can; every 20 minutes.
  • Base accounts can make: 1,000 - 10,000
  • Gold can make: 2,500 - 30,000
  • Platinum can make: 5,000 - 50,000
  • Diamond can make: 10,000 - 70,000

    Did you know that you can earn some NC at the Morandian Bank? Interest is automatically added the first day of the month at 5:00pm (Nutrinopets Time). So, you should place your NC in the bank a few minutes before then.
    Sure, when you first start out, the interest isn't that much. However, as you gain more NC, that .70% can really start to add up...

    Donation Pond    		 Sometimes, other users will donate random items and NC amounts to the Donation Pond. So, this can sometimes be a lovely place to gain some things to help you out in the game. You can pick up one new Donation every minute.
    Do remember, when you make some decent NC, to help out your fellow players by donating some yourself. ;D

    A rather... random way of making some NC comes from simply playing on the site. There are several Random Events that can happen to you as you travel around Morandia. There are five that will give you NC and only one that will take some away. However, they usually give under 999 NC and take under that amount as well.

    Your Shop    		 All right, you've played Random and checked the Pond. Now, you have some spare items lazing about. Usually one of the best ways to make some NC off of spare items is to sell them. You can do so by opening up a shop.
    If you would like some ideas of what to sell, try doing a Quest and see what items you're asked for; they will often be worth a resell.
    I'll go into more detail about user shops here.

    You should always try to buy up 10 tickets everyday for the Morandian Lottery. The more users that buy tickets, the higher the pot goes.
    The drawing happens every day at 5:00pm (Nutrinopets Time). You don't have to do anything to receive your NC if you win; it is automatically added to your account. You can also go to the Lotto page to see the winner.

    Slot Machine    		 You could also try your luck at the Slots. It will cost you 200NC per play, but you could win 1,000,000NC. ;D Just type the three digit code into the box and pull the lever.
    However, I wouldn't advise spending far too much NC on the Slots; unless you can stand to lose them.

    Another option for your spare items can be the Pawn Shop. You can take your item in and give it to Polenbel. He will trade you some NC for your item and give you a set amount of time before he will sell it off. So, if you want your item back, you had better rebuy it before time runs out.

    The Alchemist    		 You could take your spare items to the Alchemist. He will take your item and roll any number of die that you tell him to.

    I considered not placing this one on the list... but you can make some NC by posting in the Forums. You can earn 5NC for each post that you make and 50NC for creating a new topic.
    However, you will find that you will not make very much by using this method. But, you do make a little and users never seem to realize where that little bit of NC comes from. ;D

    Beginners Forum    		 Speaking of Forums, if you're a Newbie, you will want to check out the Beginners Forum. Often, older users will give NC or items to newbies who have been playing the site under a certain amount of time. (typically under 1 month or so)
    Also, some older users choose to 'adopt' newbies in order to help them out in the game. How well that works is subject to change depending on the user.
